Change Your Outbound Caller ID

By default, your district-provided Zoom phone will have an outbound caller ID of 408-867-2200 which is shared with all other Zoom phone users in our district. For certain job titles and positions that need to place lots of outbound calls this can be undesirable as the person receiving your call may not recognize that number. This article will show you how to change your outbound caller ID.
Procedure
First, sign in to the Zoom desktop app with SSO. Once you've signed in, navigate to your Phone tab along the top of the app. In the phone tab, you'll see a keypad in the center of the screen. Just below your keypad is your Caller ID. Click on it to get a dropdown of your other options for outbound caller IDs.

Please note: Many users were accidentally set up without the permission on their account to change their outbound caller ID. If you click on your caller ID and the dropdown shown in the image above does not appear, please put in a ticket with us and we will be happy to correct the permissions on your account.
